Plant sapling distribution to the nearby villager

Sant Baba Bhag Singh University and Sant Baba Bhag Singh Memorial Charitable Society has organized the plant sapling distribution langar with the blessings of the honorable Chancellor, Sant Baba Manmohan Singh Ji, and guidance of Vice Chancellor, Dhramjit Singh Parmarji, with the collaboration of Forest department Punjab. The main event organizer was Sant Baba Bhag Singh Memorial Charitable Society Secretory, SardarHardaman Singh Minhas. 800 plant saplings were procured in which 400 saplings of Melia azedarach(Draek) and Dalbergiasissoo (Shisham) while Sapindusmukorossi(Ritha), Albizialebbeck(Sareen), Madhucalongifolia(Mahua), Azadirachtaindica(Neem) were purchased from nursery. A function was organized in the university, Gurudwara and nearby villagers were invited. In the event, Sant Baba Manmohan Singh Ji, Sant Baba Sarawan Singh Ji, Sant Baba Janakji and various dignitaries of management and university were present. Plant distribution stall were arranged and the Saplings were distributed to the villagers by department of Agriculture. The faculty members involved in this event are Dr. Vikrant Jaryan, Dr. Indu Sharma, Dr. Shalu Vyas and Dr. Parshotam Singh Tyagi.
